The National Identification Authority (NIA) invites applications from suitably qualified, goal-oriented, and results-driven Ghanaians for appointment as drivers in the attached list of Districts.
1. Qualification and Experience (Direct Entry)
The Applicant must have:
A minimum of WASSCE;
- A professional level qualification or industry skill-based certification in auto-mechanics.
- A valid driver’s license (License ‘B); and
- A minimum of six (6) years post-license relevant work experience.
- Applicants must pass a selection interview conducted by the NIA in collaboration with the Public Services Commission (PSC).
2. Competencies and Skills
- Ability to drive pick-up trucks and saloon cars;
- Defensive driving;
- Ability to think logically
- Ability to read and write; and
- A high sense of integrity and maturity.
3. Mode of Application
- A signed application letter should be submitted with the following supporting documents:
- Photocopy of Ghana Card;
- Curriculum Vitae;
- Photocopies of academic and professional certificates; and
Addresses, telephone numbers, and e-mails of three (3) referees. - The application letter should indicate the Applicant’s region and district of residence. Applicants must be willing to accept posting to any Region or District in the country.
The application and the above-listed documents should be addressed to the Executive Secretary as indicated below and forwarded to the nearest NIA Regional or District Office.
