2024 BECE Results: Why Creative Arts and Design Papers are Pending

The West African Examination Council on 19 October 2024 released provisional results of 2024 BECE candidates. The council further notified candidates that their results will be sent to them through their directors of education in their respective jurisdiction. However, candidates can access their results on www.waecgh.org.

Most candidate who have been able to access their results online are complaining of a pending grade for Creative Art and Design. The WAEC in their release did not inform candidates why their results were pending.

Creative Art and Design, a new subject which was carved from Basic Design and Technology. This has raised concern among candidates and guardians. Their concern stems from the fact that they do not know when the results will be released. Also, they will be reporting to Senior High School in less than 10 days.

This lack of information has also outraged some Ghanaian citizens who described the results as “half-baked.” Also also believe they are still marking the papers when will be done soon.

However, candidates should be optimistic that they will receive their results because they are pending and will be released by WAEC.
