Nursing Programmes Entry Requirements
Post-Basic Programmes:
A strict 2-year top-up program for diploma holders in general nursing in specialized fields such as:
Critical Care Nursing
Ophthalmic Nursing
ENT
Public Health Nursing
Peri-Operative Nursing etc.
Basic Programmes (Diploma):
Registered General Nursing (RGN)
Registered Midwifery (RM)
Public Health Nursing (PHN)
Registered Mental Nursing (RMN)
Registered Community Psychiatry Nursing (RCPN)
Entry Requirements for Ghanaian Nationals:
An Aggregate Score of thirty-six (36) or better comprising (A1 – C6) in three (3) Core Subjects i.e. ENGLISH, MATHEMATICS and INTEGRATED SCIENCE/ADDITIONAL MATHEMATICS/BIOLOGY and in three elective Subjects (A1 – C6) in any of the following programmes itemized below.
NB: Applicants must be 16 – 35 years old
Applicants should have their certificate and transcript interpreted by GTEC and WAEC.
Applicant have professional verification done if applying for Post Basic programme.
