2025/2026 Academic Calendar for KG, Primary & J.H.S

The Ghana Education Service has shared the academic calendar for 2025/2026 Academic year.

The academic calendar was shared by Mr. Daniel Fenyi, the Head of Public Relation at Ghana Education Service.

The academic calendar has been divided into three terms: first term, second term, and third term.

  • The first term begins on 2 September 2025 and ends on 18 December 2025.
  • The second term begins on 8 January 2026 and ends on 1 April 2026.
  • The third term begins on 21 April 2026, and end on 23 July 2026.

Administrators, stakeholder, parents, teachers, and students should take note and plan accordingly.
The 2026 BECE will take place from 4 May 2026 to 11 May 2026.
